The cooler weather has started to make an appearance here in the New Smyrna Beach area. The redfish are still stacked up in the inlets and seem to be chewing well. Our trout bite has been good as well through out Mosquito Lagoon along with some schools of black drum showing up down south. We have also had a steady snook bite in the back waters of New Smyrna around structure with moving water. The flounder have also started to move in and are always fun to catch bouncing the bottom with soft plastics or a live shrimp. As the winds continue to shift and water temps begin to cool the clarity will only increase through out Mosquito Lagoon making the sight fishing even better.
