East Central Florida has very unique water ways from the winding creeks of New Smyrna and Edgewater to the shallow grass flats of Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River Lagoon.
With over two decades of local fishing experience on these waters and also competing in local and professional tournaments, Captain Patrick Rood has a passion for sharing and teaching the techniques of flats fishing with his clients. From guiding you on the shallow grass flats of Mosquito Lagoon to fishing the back waters of Edgewater and New Smyrna Beach. We will provide you with a day to remember in search of Redfish, Trout, Snook, Tarpon & other inshore species that inhabit these waters while enjoying the beautiful wildlife and views of East Central Florida. Maggie Rood and Capt Patrick Rood take home first place at the IFA Redfish Tour in Titusville FL. The weather conditions were gusty to say the least with winds blowing over 25 mph. They managed to stay focus on the task ahead and take the win with a solid two fish total of 12.29 lbs.
