The weather has been a little crazy here in Central FL from hot to cool to calm and to windy all with in a week and a half. It has not effected the bite just how to catch them and where to find them. Plugs, spoons and live finger mullet have been working well.
We currently have an influx of water throughout the New Smyrna Beach backwaters and Mosquito Lagoon area which has the fish more spread out. This is where the plugs and spoons work great for a search bait as well as the finger mullet. It looks like we will be getting a cool front coming in over the weekend which will shift the winds again.
