With a close call last week from Hurricane Dorian scraping the Florida East Coast things seem to be back to normal here in New Smyrna Beach. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Bahamas and hope for a speedy recovery. Dorian did bring a influx of water into New Smyrna Beach and Mosquito Lagoon which spread the fish out for a couple of days. Water levels seem to be back to normal throughout Mosquito Lagoon and the fishing as well. We still have a good number of tarpon and snook in the New Smyrna Beach area along with a good redfish and trout bite throughout Mosquito Lagoon.
