The bite continues to be steady throughout the New Smyrna Beach back waters. The bait has started to move in good numbers and the trout have followed. Look for the trout and redfish in and around the pot holes throughout Mosquito Lagoon. They have been hanging out with the schools of mullet and feeding early. The snook and tarpon are still in good numbers further north throughout the backwaters of New Smyrna Beach. They have also been chewing early and both live bait and artificials have been working well. It looks like we could have some weather coming into the Central Fl area over the weekend so pack your rain gear it may get wet.
