The warm weather has definitely hit us here in the New Smyrna Beach area. We have been in the mid to upper eighties the past few days and looks like it will continue to increase over the next week. The warmer weather has trigger a really good bite throughout New Smyrna Beach and Mosquito Lagoon waters. We have been bringing several trout and redfish boat side this past week and I foresee it only getting better. They have been chewing well on both artificial and live bait through the whole day. The early morning plug bite has been good as well. I have had several snook bites around the structure in the New Smyrna Beach area along with a good top water bite throughout the Lagoon as well. The water clarity has been outstanding with great visibility making it easy to spot fish. The weather looks great for the rest of the week so what better way to spend the day but on the water.
