The weather has been cooperating for the most part this past week making for some great sightfishing. My clients have been boating great numbers of both redfish and black drum out of several different large schools throughout the backwaters of New Smyrna Beach. It looks as if we are going to have a little front moving down on us for a few days but the weather should be back stable the beginning of next week. There is still plenty of bait throughout Mosquito Lagoon and the fish have been mixed in with it. Small soft plastics and shrimp have been working well when presented slowly.
