The bite continues to hold strong throughout the New Smyrna Beach waters. We have been boating several different species over the past couple of weeks including redfish, trout, and snook. The bite has been better on live bait over artificials the las couple of weeks. Pin fish , pig fish and finger mullet have been doing the trick. Plugs and top water baits have been working well early before the water temps warm up then moving to a spoon or soft plastic later in the day. I do not see a change in the bite over the next few weeks as long the weather stays stable in the tropics and with that being said let’s keep our fingers crossed for no storms .
