The bait has finally started to show up here in the New Smyrna Beach area making for some good bites. The water temps are starting to rise just like the air temps making for a better early morning and late evening bite. Look for the redfish and trout cruising the shallows early then moving to the drop offs as the sun gets higher. The snook and tarpon have been making some appearances early as well, then slowing down when the sun gets higher in the sky. It looks like the summer time fish patterns are in full affect . Not only are the fish patterns in full swing but the summer time weather patterns are as well with afternoon thunderstorms everyday.
