New Smyrna Beach and Mosquito Lagoon Inshore Fishing Report by Capt. Patrick Rood
The weather is definitely starting to change here in New Smyrna Beach. The cooler weather makes for a great day on the water. With the shifting winds and cooler temps look for the water levels to lower through out Mosquito Lagoon and the clarity to increase. The sight fishing has been good and will only get better as winter starts to set in. We have a good trout bite along with redfish as well. The big boys are starting to work there way back from the inlets onto the flats through out the Lagoon. The black drum have started to make an appearance through out Mosquito Lagoon as well.
