The weather has been outstanding this past week in New Smyrna Beach. We have had a couple of cool mornings but for the most part highs in the mid to lower seventies. The water clarity in the backwaters of New Smyrna Beach and Mosquito Lagoon has been just as good. As long as the wind stays at a minimal then the sight fishing has be great. We have been seeing good numbers of both trout and redfish through out Mosquito Lagoon along with some good numbers of sheep head and flounder up north in the New Smyrna Beach area. I foresee the fishing only to get better as winter moves forward.
