The bite continues to be good here in the New Smyrna Beach area. With the recent weather change it has helped with eliminating the excess water we have had and looks to be cleaning it up a little as well.
We have been boating redfish, snook, trout and flounder throughout the backwaters and into Mosquito Lagoon. The water clarity is still not that great in the Lagoon but seems to be getting better with each day. The water temps have been cooling down quite a bit so slow retrieves on artificials and smaller live baits have been working well.
