The fishing continues to be good here in the New Smyrna Beach area. The temperatures have started to drop making for some cleaner water conditions throughout the backwaters and Mosquito Lagoon. It was definitely a little busy out on the water last week do to the holiday but has gotten back to normal this week . The snook, redfish, trout and black drum have been roaming the flats looking for a easy meal. Live bait and artificials have both been working well. As the water temps continue to lower as winter moves forward the bite will continue to stay strong. It looks like we have stable ahead going into next week which will make for some good sight fishing in the shallows.
