We are still having a great bite here on the Mosquito Lagoon. With large schools of mullet in the creeks of New Smyrna and spreading south through out the flats of the Lagoon the trout and redfish have had no shortage of food. The Snook bite has been pretty steady as well, along with the Tarpon coming out to play occasionally makes for a variety of species to target. We are getting our summer time storms in the afternoons so a early start is recommended to get a good four hours in before the rain and heat runs you off the water.
