The Fall bite continues to be good throughout the Central Florida waters. We have been bringing several different species boat side from redfish and trout to snook and jacks. The water levels are continuing to drop post Hurricane Ian. The water clarity is also continuing to get better day by day as well. Look for the pods of bait working the shallows and running the shorelines in backwaters of New Smyrna Beach. The fish can be found mixed in and around these bait pods. Live finger mullet and shrimp along with plugs and soft plastics have been working well. It looks like the weather will continue to be stable into next week allowing these fish to get back to there patterns.
