The weather here in East Central FL has been great the last few days. The clear skies and clean water has been great for sight fishing in Mosquito Lagoon. We still have a good number of schooling redfish and black drum hanging on the flats. They both have been eating live shrimp very well and also very receptive to artificials as well. The trout bite has been good as well. They can be found holding in the pot holes and on the edges of the grass flats mixed in with the bait. We have done well on soft plastics and live finger mullet with a occasional top water bite as well. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the weather continues to hold out and the nasty fronts are behind us good luck and be safe.
